The American Today - Six Games Highlight Saturday's Schedule

Tulane won its ninth straight game to improve to 9-1 Friday with a 56-49 decision against Jackson State. The Green Wave has matched its best winning streak since the 2011-12 season heading into a pair of games against top-25 opponents on the horizon.

Cincinnati, which scored an overtime win against No. 19/17 San Diego State Wednesday, faces another tough test as the Bearcats host Virginia Commonwealth. It will be Cincinnati’s third straight game against a team that played in the 2014 NCAA tournament.
 
SMU takes a five-game winning streak to Michigan Saturday as the Mustangs and Wolverines meet for the first time on the hardwood. SMU, which just completed a seven-game homestand, will play its first road game in a month.
 
USF looks to snap a four-game slide as the Bulls face Florida State in the MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic in Sunrise, Florida. The game will be the Bulls’ third contest in six days.
 
Memphis goes for its third consecutive win as the Tigers welcome Oral Roberts to FedExForum.  Memphis leads the all-time series, 6-2, and hasn’t lost to the Golden Eagles since 1975.
 
Houston wraps up a season-long five-game homestand as the Cougars hosts South Carolina State as part of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic. It will be the first meeting between the teams.
 
East Carolina takes to the road to face UNC Wilmington as the Pirates and the Seahawks meet for the 62nd time.  East Carolina is looking to snap a seven-game losing streak in true road games.
