PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the following changes to the conference’s 2014 football schedule.
 

• The first American Athletic Conference game of the season – Tulane at Tulsa – will be played Thursday, Aug. 28. The kickoff time and television coverage will be announced at a later date.

 

• Houston’s season-opener against Texas-San Antonio will be played Friday, Aug. 29, at 9 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPNews. It will be the first game in the new Houston Football Stadium.

 

• Houston will host Temple in an American Athletic Conference game Friday, Oct.17, at 9 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
