Sunday Women's Soccer Roundup

The American went 3-2-1 in women's soccer action on Sunday. UCF defeated TCU on the road while USF and Tulsa were victorious in home contests.

The Knights clinched its first shutout of the year with a 2-0 win over the Horned Frogs in Fort Worth, Texas. Jennifer Martin's first goal of the season was also the seventh game-winner of her career - the most of any Knight on the current roster.

The Bulls picked up its first win of the season with a 2-0 shutout victory over Florida Gulf Coast. USF controlled the momentum of the game from the very beginning, outshooting the Eagles 15-4 overall. Leticia Skeete scored the lone goal for the Bulls in the 50th minute.

Lauren King and Rachel Thun each netted a goal to give Tulsa a 2-0 win over UMKC. The Golden Hurricane claimed the 2014 Holiday Inn City Center Tulsa Invitational title with the win and moved to 4-0 on the season, the best start for Tulsa since 1993. 

Cincinnati netted two goals in the final seven minutes of regulation to force overtime and eventually record a 2-2 draw against UC Santa Barbara while Memphis and SMU fell to SEC foes Vanderbilt and Missouri, respectively.
