The American Today - Tulsa Improves to 6-0 in Conference Play



Tulsa improved to 6-0 in The American with a win Wednesday, highlighting the three games on the conference schedule.
 
G Shaquille Harrison filled up the stat sheet in Tulsa’s 73-55 home win over Memphis, tallying 18 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals as the Golden Hurricane won its eighth straight to improve to 13-5. G James Woodard added 16 points, while F Rashad Smith had 14 points and seven rebounds. G Avery Woodson had 15 points and eight rebounds to lead Memphis, which dropped to 11-7 and 4-3 in The American.

 

SMU stayed a half-game back of league-leading Tulsa in the conference standings, improving to 6-1 in The American and 15-4 overall with a 66-52 win at Tulane. G Nic Moore tallied 18 points and seven assists in the victory while C Yanick Moreira had 14 points and eight rebounds. G Louis Dabney had 16 points to lead Tulane, which fell to 13-6 and 4-3 in The American.

Cincinnati improved to 13-5 and 4-2 in The American with a 67-54 win over Houston at Fifth Third Arena. G Troy Caupain had 13 points to lead the Bearcats, who shot 61.9-percent from the floor in the second half. F Danrad Knowles had a game-high 15 points for Houston, which dropped to 7-11 and 0-7 in conference play.
