Eight American Athletic Conference women's soccer teams wrapped up the eighth week of the season with conference play on Sunday.

Highlights

- UCF junior Carol Rodrigues recorded her second multi-goal game of the weekend, with a pair of goals in the Knights' 3-1 win over RV/NR Tulsa. Rodrigues scored in the fourth minute, and again on a bicycle kick in the 50th minute to give UCF a 2-1 edge over the Hurricane. Senior Ashley Spivey scored on a penalty kick in the 56th minute to give the Knights an insurance goal. Rodrigues leads the team with nine goals on the season, while Spivey follows with seven. Goalie Vera Varis had six saves in the match for the Knights.

- RV/NR Tulsa's Lauren King netted a goal in the 47th minute to tie the game 1-1, before UCF regained the lead. Courtney McKeon had eight saves in net for the Hurricane.

- Redshirt-senior Andrea Plucenik scored the game-winning goal for No. 18/NR UConn in the 51st minute. Plucenik now has three goals on the year. The Huskies' goalkeeper Emily Armstrong tallied five saves in her fifth shutout of the season. Cincinnati goalie Natalie Smith registered four saves in the match.

- Memphis netted two first-half goals and No. 24/NR USF recorded two second-half goals as the teams played to a 2-2 (2OT) draw. Freshman Marie Levasseur and junior Valerie Sanderson each scored their team-high fifth goals of the season, giving the Tigers an early 2-0 lead. Junior Trudi Carter scored for the Bulls in the 65th minute, followed by senior OIivia Chance's game-tying goal in the 74th minute. Chance leads USF with seven goals on the season, followed by Carter who has five. Memphis goalie Maryse Bard-Martel had five saves, while USF sophomore Kat Elliot had two saves.

- Temple outshot East Carolina 18-5, but neither team was able to score as the game ended in a 0-0 (2OT) draw. Freshman goalie Jordan Nash had two saves for the Owls, while the Pirates' senior Saundra Baron had 13 saves in net. Baron leads the conference with 62 saves and eight shutouts this season.
