American Sports Network (ASN), a division of Sinclair Networks Group, which is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) will televise ten American Athletic Conference men’s basketball games for the 2015-16 season, beginning with the November 16 battle between Charlotte and East Carolina in Greenville, NC.

Under sub-license agreement with ESPN, ASN will air up to 10 men’s basketball games per year in The American footprint and on a national basis on broadcast television and syndicated to other cable outlets.  All ASN games will also be streamed live on ESPN3 through WatchESPN, accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider. Sinclair owned and operated television stations in the conference footprint include WSTR (MyTV 33) and WKRC (CBS 12) in Cincinnati, and KTUL (ABC 8) in Tulsa.  Outlets carrying the games will be announced at a later time.
   
Other games on the American TV schedule include George Washington at USF on Nov. 19, Morgan State at Cincinnati on Dec. 6, Southern at Memphis on Dec. 15 and Conference USA tournament champion UAB at USF on Dec. 19, before the schedule concludes on March 6 with a conference matchup between Temple and Tulane from New Orleans.  In all, eight different American teams are represented within the ASN schedule.
