Friday’s game will be the second meeting between East Carolina and UConn and will be the first matchup to be played in East Hartford … Last year’s meeting saw the No. 18/17-ranked Pirates break a 21-21 tie with 10 fourth-quarter points in a 31-21 win as QB Shane Carden threw for 445 yards and two touchdowns.
