• B.J. Tyson, who led East Carolina in scoring at 12.5 points per game, was unanimously chosen to the conference’s 2014-15 all-rookie team.
• East Carolina set an American Athletic Conference Championship record by making 15 3-pointers in its 2015 quarterfinal matchup against top-seeded SMU. Antonio Robinson, Terry Whisnant and Caleb White each made four 3s apiece
• The Pirates added significant size to their roster with the addition of 6-foot-10 freshman Deng Riak, 6-foot-8 junior Clarence Williams and 6-foot-5 freshman Kentrell Barkley.
