Houston's Cameron Malveaux

21 Houston and 16 Navy will face-off on Friday in a game that will determine the West division champion and who will earn the right to host the inaugural American Athletic Conference Football Championship on December 5.

Houston (10-1) will look to advance to the championship game under first year head coach Tom Herman. Plenty of talk has surrounded the Coogs offense, which ranks 13th in the nation in total offense. In the shadows of a high-powered offense, Houston's defense tends to get overlooked. The Cougar's defense ranks amongst the nation’s leaders in fumbles recovered (4th) and interceptions (10th).

Cameron Malveaux will look to lead the defense, both physically and emotionally, on Friday afternoon and help Houston punch it's ticket to the league championship.
