Navy, Temple Ranked In College Football Playoff Top 25

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Navy and Temple represent the American Athletic Conference in the top 25 of the College Football Selection Committee in the fourth rankings of the 2015 season.
 
The American has had at least two teams in all four CFP rankings this season.
 
Navy is the highest-ranked of the American Athletic Conference teams as the Midshipmen moved up to No. 15 in the ranking following a 44-21 win at Tulsa last Saturday The Midshipmen, whose only loss came on the road to No. 6 Notre Dame, take a. 9-1 overall record and a 7-0 conference mark into Saturday’s game at Houston (10-1, 6-1), which will determine the West Division representative in the American Athletic Conference Football Championship.
 
Temple moved back into the top 25 at No. 25 after the Owls scored a 31-12 win against Memphis last Saturday. The Owls take a 9-2 overall record and a 6-1 mark in The American’s East Division into this Saturday’s game against UConn. The Owls would secure the East Division title crown with a win against the Huskies, or with a loss by USF to UCF Thursday.
