- No. 24/24 Cincinnati (7-0) defeated RV/RV George Washington 61-56 in the championship game of the Barclays Center Classic, held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Troy Caupain led the Bearcats with 16 points, including the go-ahead three-point play with 1:38 to play which gave Cincinnati a 55-54 advantage. Farad Cobb and Kevin Johnson both had 11 points for the Bearcats while tournament MVP Octavius Ellis had nine points and seven rebounds in the win. The Bearcats outrebounded the Colonials 38-31, and went 10-for-12 from the free-throw line compared to GW's 3-of-4 foul shots. Cincinnati is 7-0 for the fourth time in the past six seasons.
- Houston (3-0) recorded a 76-64 win over Louisiana-Monroe at Hofheinz Pavilion. The Cougars were led in scoring by sophomore guard Rob Gray, Jr.,who finished with a career-high 22 points and six rebounds. Senior guard LeRon Barnes registered the team's first double-double of the season and the fourth of his career, with 15 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Junior guard Ronnie Johnson added 13 points with six rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals for the Cougars. Houston outrebounded the Warhawks 41-37, and also forced 12 ULM turnovers which resulted in 20 points.
- UCF (1-3) suffered a 64-63 road loss against Miami (OH). Freshman Tacko Fall led the Knights with 10 points, five rebounds and three blocks. Shaheed Davis added nine points with a game-high eight rebounds, while Chance McSpadden also scored nine points off the bench. UCF's bench accounted for 17 of the team's 36 first-half points.
- Tulsa (4-2) fell to Little Rock, 64-60 at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.Tulsa had four players in double-digit points, led by senior James Woodard with 16, followed by D'Andre Wright with 14, Rashad Ray with 11 and Marquel Curtis with 10 points. Woodard, Wright and Curtis each also had six rebounds.
