Temple saw an eight-game winning streak come to an end with a 24-20 setback to No. 9/9 Notre Dame … Despite the loss, the Owls only fell two places to No. 23 in the Associated Press poll and dropped one spot to No. 23 in the USA Today coaches’ poll … Temple has outscored its eight opponents in the second half by a 147-39 margin … The Owls have been led offensively by RB Jahad Thomas, who is seventh in the nation in all-purpose yards (163.4 ypg) and has rushed for 904 yards and 13 touchdowns on 186 carries … QB P.J.
