Highlights

 Sophomore guard Rob Gray, Jr., scored 11 of his career-high 31 points in overtime to lead Houston (6-1) to its first win against a Southeastern Conference member since an 87-78 victory against Arkansas in Little Rock, Ark., on Nov. 18, 2011. Junior forward Danrad Knowles tallied 20 points with nine rebounds and a game-high three blocked shots in his first start of the season. Damyean Dotson finished with 13 points and a team-high 10 rebounds for his third double-double in the last four games, while Devonta Pollard finished with 10 points and six rebounds.



- East Carolina (6-4) recorded a 71-60 win over North Carolina A&T at Minges Coliseum, which extended its homecourt winning streak over non-conference opponents to 10 games and snapped the Aggies' four-game winning streak. B.J. Tyson led the Pirates with 21 points and six rebounds, while Charles Foster had 13 points off the bench. Freshman Kentrell Barkley added 11 points as the Pirates' bench outscored the Aggies' reserves, 30-18. Barkley led all players with seven rebounds as ECU outrebounded the Aggies by seven (38-31).

- Tulsa (7-3)  topped Missouri State, 70-61, on the road Sunday afternoon at JQH Arena. Senior guard James Woodard led Tulsa with 20 points and grabbed six rebounds. Senior forward Rashad Smith scored 12 points with a team-high seven boards, while senior guard Shaquille Harrison added 11 points, with a game-high six assists and two steals.  Junior guard Pat Birt and senior forward Brandon Swannegan each added eight points for the Hurricane. 

- USF (2-8) fell to NC State, 65-46 at the Sun Dome. The Bulls more than doubled its first-half points while outscoring the Wolfpack, 31-30 in the second half. Jahmal McMurray recorded a team-high 13 points, and chipped in four rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals. Nehemias Morillo followed with 10 points, and Jaleel Cousins almost had a double-double with eight points and 12 rebounds.

- Temple (4-5) came up short against Saint Joseph's, suffering a 66-65 overtime loss at the Liacouras Center. Sophomore Obi Enechionyia and junior Josh Brown both recorded their first career double-doubles. Enechionyia scored a career and game-high 25 points to go with a career and team-high 13 rebounds, while Brown added a career-high 12 rebounds to a season-high 13 points. Quenton DeCosey was Temple's third double-figure scorer, recording 13 points to go with seven boards.
