Editor's Note: Heading into the Holiday Season and the end of 2015 we thought it would be nice to look back at some of the best plays from the past year. We scoured through lots of video footage and came up with our "12 Plays of Christmas". Every day we will reveal a new play that we consider to be one of our best from the year. The list will end with play number 1 on Christmas Eve.

Play 8 - Temple's Jahad Thomas Goes The Distance

A week after shocking the country by taking down Penn State for the first time since 1941, Temple hit the road to face Cincinnati in a American Athletic Conference East Division battle. The Owls took a 10-6 lead into halftime and were set to receive the ball to start the third quarter. 

Jahad Thomas made a few key plays in the first two quarters before taking the second-half kickoff 100-yards to the house, tying a program record, and stretching the lead to 17-6.
 


The kickoff return was only a glimpse of Thomas’ superb performance as the junior running back finished with a career-high 193 rushing yards and added a rushing touchdown before the night was complete. Temple went on to take down the Bearcats, 34-26, in front of a crowd of 38,122.
