Memphis travels to USF (Noon ET, ESPNU,) as the Tigers look to snap a two-game slide, while the Bulls try to end a 10-game skid. F Shaq Goodwin has stepped up on the glass the last two games for Memphis, averaging 17.5 rebounds per game. USF G Corey Allen Jr. has led the Bulls in scoring in their last five games, tallying 19.8 points per game over that stretch.
Temple, the winner of six straight, hosts an East Carolina squad that has won three of its last four, but has not won a road game this season (2 p.m. ET, CBSSN.) Temple head coach Fran Dunphy enters Saturday five wins shy of 500 for his career. The Pirates’ three-pronged attack of G Terry Whisnant, G B.J. Tyson and F Caleb White has combined for 58.7-percent of ECU’s scoring this season, with the three all in the top 20 in The American in scoring.
Cincinnati hosts Tulane (2 p.m. ET, ESPNU) as the Bearcats go for their 11th straight win in the series with the Green Wave. Cincinnati continues to rank in the top 10 nationally in scoring defense at 55.5 points allowed per game. Tulane is one of two teams in The American – East Carolina the other – with three players in the top 20 in the league in scoring.
SMU will host UConn at Moody Coliseum (9 p.m. ET, ESPN.) ESPN’s College GameDay will be on location in Dallas Saturday morning prior to the clash between the Huskies and Mustangs. In addition to the ESPN telecast, ESPN3 Surround will provide in-arena natural sound and views from above-the-rim cameras at each end of the court. It will be the first time that SMU has hosted College GameDay.
