Teams from The American went 8-0 Sunday to complete a weekend that saw the conference post a 23-1 mark from Friday to Sunday.
 
East Carolina received nine runs batted in from its cleanup spot as LF Luke Lowery and LF Bailey Sugg each hit a grand slam in the Pirates’ 20-4 rout of Elon. CF Reid Love also drove in four for ECU, which won its fourth straight to improve to 13-6.
 
1B James Vasquez hit a grand slam – his second home run in as many days – as No. 6/10 UCF outslugged Fairfield 16-10. DH Matt Diorio also had four runs batted in for the Knights, who improved to 17-4.
 
Four Tulane pitchers combined to one-hit Xavier in a 10-3 Green Wave victory. RHP Alex Massey tossed 6.2 innings of shutout relief for Tulane, which moved to 15-5.
 
RF Jon Testani hit a two-run homer in the ninth to lift UConn past Michigan State 3-1. RHP Jordan Tabakman threw seven innings of one-run ball for the Huskies, who improved to 10-6.
 
Memphis swept Eastern Illinois in a doubleheader, taking the first game 11-1 and the second 5-2. LF Kane Barrow went 6-for-8 in the twin bill for the Tigers, who won their fifth straight to improve to 9-4.
 
C Woody Wallace had three hits – including a pair of doubles – in Cincinnati’s 11-2 win over Toledo. 1B Ryan Noda was on base four times for the Bearcats, who moved to 6-11.
 
RHP Joe Cavallaro threw seven scoreless innings as USF blanked Florida A&M 5-0. C Levi Borders extended his hitting streak to five games for the Bulls, who improved to 13-6-1.
 
RHP Taylor Cobb tossed six shutout innings in No. 24 Houston’s 5-0 win over Buffalo. 1B Chris Iriart hit his fourth homer of the year for the Cougars, who improved to 13-7 and pushed their winning streak to five games.
