Ten Athletes from The American Compete in NCAA Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Ten athletes from The American took part in the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas, over the weekend, with a pair of Tulsa runners posting top-five times in their events.
 
- Tulsa junior Bryce Robinson placed third in the 200-meter dash in 20.75. Robinson ran 20.70 in preliminaries. Robinson finished 11th in preliminaries of the 60-meter dash (6.67).
 
- Tulsa sophomore Marc Scott finished fifth in the 5,000-meters in 13:54.25. Senior Audrey Jean-Baptiste finished 14th in preliminaries of the women’s 400-meter dash.
 
- USF junior Matthew O’Neal placed sixth in the men’s triple jump with a mark of 53-11.25/16.44 meters.
 
- Cincinnati freshman Adrian Valles finished sixth in the men’s pole vault at 17-10.5/5.45 meters. Junior Erika Hurd finished 15th in the women’s high jump with a mark of 5-8/1.73 meters.
 
- East Carolina junior Avion Jones placed eighth in the men’s high jump with a leap of 7-2.5/2.20 meters.
 
- Houston junior Isaac Williams placed 10th in preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles in 7.81.
 
- Memphis sophomore Chardae Greenlee finished 11th in the women’s triple jump with a mark of 41-9.25/12.73 meters.
 
- Temple junior Blanca Fernandez recorded a 12th-place time in the women’s mile preliminaries at 4:42.17.
