Cincinnati SS Manny Rodriguez hit a walk-off single in the 10th inning to move the Bearcats past Niagara 2-1 at Marge Schott Stadium. Jarod Yoakam tossed 4.2 innings of scoreless relief for the win, which completed a three-game sweep of the Purple Eagles and improved the Bearcats to 4-9.

Memphis fell 8-4 to Samford in the first game in eight days for the Tigers, whose early season schedule has been hampered by inclement weather. LF Kane Barrow drove in two runs for Memphis in the defeat, which dropped the Tigers to 4-4.
