Best of Basketball No. 8: Cincinnati and Tulsa share a charter

Over the next two weeks we will be counting down the top 10 moments from the 2014-15 basketball seasons. Each day we will be bringing you one moment from either the men or women that stood out to us this season.

#8: Tulsa and Cincinnati Sportsmanship

One of the best sportsmanship stories of the year goes to the Tulsa and Cincinnati Women's basketball programs. On Saturday, February 28th, Cincinnati found themselves stuck in the Dallas area due to snow and ice following a 56-46 win over SMU. With no plan on how to get home, Tulsa graciously offered a ride on their charter to the Bearcats. The Bearcats made the four-hour trek from Dallas to Tulsa in time to hop on the plane. Tulsa, fresh off a 55-52 victory over Tulane, was traveling to Cincinnati on a charter flight that was leaving earlier afternoon on Sunday.

The two teams rode together to Cincinnati, where they faced off on the court that following Monday.
