PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The 2015 college football season will begin with four opening-week games featuring American Athletic Conference teams on CBS Sports Network as part of the network’s package of 21 games involving conference teams.
 
Coverage on CBS Sports Network begins Thursday, Sept. 3, as UCF hosts Florida International at 6 p.m. ET, while Tulane hosts Duke at 9:30 p.m. ET.
 
Two days later, Navy will play its first game as an American Athletic Conference member as the Midshipmen host Colgate Saturday, Sept. 5, at noon ET. Tulsa will take on Florida Atlantic at 3:30 p.m. ET in the debut of new Golden Hurricane head coach Philip Montgomery.
 
CBS Sports Network will carry at least one American Athletic Conference- game each Saturday during the regular season. All of Navy’s home games in the 2015 season will be televised on CBS Sports Network, while the Dec. 12 Army-Navy game will be televised on CBS.
 
The 2015 season will be The American’s first in its new 12-team, two-division format.
 
The American Athletic Conference has enjoyed tremendous success since its inaugural season in 2013. The conference produced two 12-win teams in 2013, including UCF, which won the Fiesta Bowl, and saw nine-win UCF, Cincinnati and Memphis tie for the conference title in 2014. Six of the 12 American Athletic Conference teams in 2015 – UCF, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Houston, Memphis and Navy – played in the 2014 postseason, while Memphis finished the season ranked No. 25 in the final national polls.
