Three of Saturday’s four games were decided by one run, as Houston, Memphis, East Carolina and Tulane were winners in the middle games of conference series.
 
No. 25 Houston evened its series at USF with a 9-8 win in Tampa. DH Jacob Campbell drove in four runs for the Cougars, who improved to 28-15 and 8-6 in The American. C Levi Borders homered twice for the Bulls, including one in a three-run ninth to pull to within a run. USF dropped to 28-15-1 and 9-5 in The American in the defeat.
 
Memphis moved to 5-0 in the middle game of conference series this season with a 4-3 win at UConn. RHP Dylan Toscano went the first six innings for the win, while RHP Craig Caufield pitched three scoreless innings of one-hit relief for his first save of the year. The Tigers moved to 28-13 and 8-6 in The American with the win. 1B Bobby Melley had an RBI and a run scored for the Huskies, who fell to 28-16 and 7-7 in conference play.
 
East Carolina won its fifth straight game - all by exactly one run - in a 3-2 victory over UCF. LHP Reid Love struck out nine over 8.2 innings for the Pirates while also collecting two hits and a run scored out of the No. 3 spot in the order. With the win, East Carolina improved to 28-16 and 8-6 in The American. Logan Heiser drove in a run as a pinch-hitter in a two-run ninth-inning rally for the Knights, who fell to 26-18 and 5-9 in conference play.
 
Tulane erased a 6-0 deficit for an 8-6 victory over Cincinnati at Marge Schott Stadium. The Green Wave scored two in the sixth, four in the seventh and two in the ninth for the comeback win. RF Lex Kaplan drove in two runs and scored three for Tulane, which moved to 26-16 and 7-7 in league play with the win. 2B Kyle Mottice drove in three runs for the Bearcats, who dropped to 13-29 and 4-10 in The American.
