#AmericanKickoff Returns to Newport

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Coaches and players from the 12 American Athletic Conference schools will head to the Hyatt Regency in Newport, Rhode Island, Aug. 3-4 for the league's Summer Kickoff and Media Days.
 
The festivities will begin Monday as media members and bowl partners enjoy a day of golf at Newport National Golf Club. Coaches and student-athletes will spend the afternoon with television and other media entities before the night’s main event; the annual New England-style clambake.  Fans will be able to follow all of the day's events through a broad range of coverage online as well as on social media using the #AmericanKickoff hashtag.
 
Coverage will begin Tuesday morning with a live video feed of commissioner Mike Aresco's opening remarks at 9 a.m. ET followed by roundtable discussions with the 12 head coaches. All six coaches from the West Division will kick things off at 9:45 a.m. ET followed by the East Division at 11:15 a.m. ET. The entire morning session will be streamed live on The American Digital Network  free of charge.
