Tulsa senior Bradley Bourgeois and UConn freshman Simen Olafsen received national preseason honors by TopDrawerSoccer (TDS) on Monday, Aug. 17.

Bourgeois grabbed third team honors on the TopDrawerSoccer 2015 Men’s Division I Best XI list while Olafsen received freshman best XI accolades.

Bourgeois, a center back, is a three-year letterwinner and starter who has tallied three goals and one assist, and has been a part of 22 shutouts in his career.  He was selected as the 2015 American Preseason Defensive Player of the Year and picked up all-conference and all-tournament team honors last season. Olafsen joins the Huskies at defense in his inaugural campaign in Storrs.
