Purvis averaged 18.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in road wins at RV/RV Texas and Tulane last week. The Raleigh, N.C. native shot 56.5-percent (13-of-23) overall and 50.0-percent (6-of-12) from 3-point range and scored 20 points against the Green Wave on Saturday. He led a second half rally at Texas on Dec. 29, ending the Longhorns’ six-game winning streak.
Milton averaged 16.5 points and 3.0 assists per game last week as the 17
th-ranked Mustangs moved to 2-0 in league play. The rookie scored a career-high 24 points at Tulsa on Dec. 29 and shot 55.0-percent (11-of-20) overall and 53.0-percent (8-of-15) from beyond the arc in both games.
