- No. 15/NR SMU (14-0, 3-0) rallied to overcome a seven-point deficit in the final three and a half minutes against RV/RV Cincinnati (11-5, 1-2) to record a 59-57 win at Moody Coliseum and remain one of the two undefeated teams in the nation. Ben Moore led the Mustangs in scoring, with 15 points, followed by Nic Moore with 14. Jordan Tolbert and Shake Milton each added 11 in the win. Tolbert tipped in Nic Moore's missed shot with 28 seconds left and followed up with a blocked shot to help the Mustangs secure the win. SMU totaled 11 blocks, with a game-high five coming from Ben Moore, and three by Tolbert. 




- Farad Cobb led the Bearcats with 18 points, including six of 11 from behind the arc. Cobb also tallied four steals and a pair of assists. Gary Clark notched a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, to go with a game-high five steals. Troy Caupain added nine points, four assists, two steals and a block. The score was tied nine times and there were 11 lead changes, with seven points as the largest lead of the game by Cincinnati with 04:10 left in the second half. The Bearcats had a 33-32 edge in rebounds, and forced 17 Mustang turnovers.
