No. 1 UConn 76, Houston 37
The top-ranked Huskies earned their 50th consecutive win with a defeat of Houston, 76-37, on Friday evening at the Hofheinz Pavilion. UConn scored 30 points off of turnovers and forced 19 turnovers in the win. Breanna Stewart, Moriah Jefferson, Kia Nurse and Gabby Williams each finished with 13 points. Natalie Butler grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and Katie Lou Samuelson chipped in 12 points off the bench. Tyler Gilbert produced a season-high 16 points and collected eight rebounds for the Cougars while Serithia Hawkins added six points and four rebounds.   
 
Temple 66, Tulsa 46
Ten Owls scored in a 66-46 win over Tulsa at McGonigle Hall. Head coach Tonya Cardoza earned her 150th career win on Friday. Alliya Butts led the way with 10 points and three steals. Feyonda Fitzgerald and Donnaizha Fountain recorded nine points while Tanaya Atkinson added eight points and eight rebounds. Te’era Williams scored a team-high 13 points for the Golden Hurricane while Ashley Clark chipped in with six points and seven rebounds.
