Highlights
- SMU moved in to first-place in the conference with a 3-0 win over UCF. Katie Hegarty led the Mustangs with a double-double (11 kills, 14 digs) and Morgan Heise posted 18 digs in the win. Jale Hervey (11) and Kia Bright (10) finished with double-digit kills for UCF.
- Three Bulls finished with double-digit kills for USF, led by T’ara Austin who had 18. Amy Van Sant was one of four USF players with double-digit digs. The senior finished with 17 digs. Erica Bohannon led the way for Tulsa’s offense with 16 kills.
- Temple knocked off Cincinnati on the road with a 3-0 sweep as Irem Asci finished with a double-double, posting 13 kills and 15 digs. Jordan Thompson finished with 15 kills for the Bearcats who only hit .145 as a team.
- East Carolina beat UConn in five sets as the Pirates were led by Ashley McRae, who finished with a match-high 17 kills. Sabrina Gonzalez added another double-double with 40 assists and 23 digs. The Huskies were led by Kayla Williams 14 kill, 13 dig double-double.
- Memphis scored a five-set victory over Tulane as McKenzie Hayes (20) and Brianna Kadiku (11) both finished with career-highs in kills. Catlin Lilly added a double-double with 14 kills and 12 digs for the Tigers. Tulane junior Sarah Ray finished with a career-high 36 kills, the highest for any player in The American this season and the second highest in American Athletic Conference history.
