PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly volleyball honors for the week ending Oct. 2.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Carly Nolan • So. • OH • Cincinnati
Nolan led the Bearcats to wins over USF and UCF over the weekend. The sophomore finished with an average of 5.29 kills per set while hitting .408 with only six errors in the two matches. Nolan was tied for the team lead in kills per set and digs per in both matches and finished with double-doubles in both matches, averaging 3.86 digs per set.

Morgan Heise • Sr. • L • SMU
Heise helped SMU to a 2-0 weekend on the road at Tulane and Houston. The senior finished with an average of 5.12 digs per set, including a 30 dig performance against Tulane in a five-set victory. Heise had no receiving errors in 24 serves received and reached 30 kills for the 10
th time in her career.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Camille Evans • Sr. • OH • UConn
Evans recorded double-digit kills against Temple and Memphis, hitting .477 in the two matches. In the sweep against the Tigers, the senior hit .588 with only one error.
Clara Payne • So. • MB • USF
Payne led the Bulls in kills per set (3.33), hitting percentage (.447) and blocks per set (1.17) over the weekend. The sophomore had a career-high .737 hitting percentage with no errors in a sweep against East Carolina.
Lauren Mills • Jr. • OH • SMU
Mills set a career-high in kills for a three set match (14) and hitting percentage (.414) in a 3-0 win against Houston. Mills recorded her sixth double-double of the season against Tulane.
Irem Asci • Jr. • OH • Temple
Asci averaged a double-double (25.5 kills, 13.5 digs) in wins at UConn and Memphis. Asci had a career-high 28 kills against the Huskies and a career-high 22 digs against Memphis.
Kaylie McHugh • Fr. • L • Tulane
McHugh helped Tulane to a 1-1 record over the weekend, including a five-set win over Tulsa. The freshman had 26 digs, one shy of a career-high against the Hurricane and added 23 digs in the match against SMU.
