PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league's weekly women's soccer honors for the week ending Oct. 30.
Offensive Player of the Week
Stephanie Ribeiro * RS-Sr. * F * UConn
Ribeiro scored three of the Huskies four goals over the weekend. She now has 11 game winning goals this season. Ribeiro has scored in the last five matches.
Defensive Player of the Week
Olivia Gauthier * So. * D * Memphis
Gauthier anchored a defense that recorded its seventh shutout this season and allowed only one goal for the weekend. She helped the Tigers secure the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament
Goalkeeper of the Week
Emily Armstrong * Sr. * UConn
Armstrong recorded 15 saves and one shutout to finish the regular season. Armstrong recorded a season high ten saves in the Huskies 2-0 victory over Cincinnati.
Rookie of the Week
Evelyne Viens * Fr. * F * USF
Viens scored three goals for the Bulls including the game-winner in the 3-2 victory over Tulsa. She scored her 16
th goal of the season tying her for first in the USF record books for goals in a season.
Weekly Honor Roll

Made several clears against Temple and scored the game-winner in the Bearcats 2-1 victory over the Owls
Annah Lindberg * Jr. * MF * East Carolina
Scored in both ECU matches bringing her total to four this season.
Maryse Bard-Martel * Sr. * GK * Memphis
Recorded her seventh shutout this season in the Tigers 1-0 double overtime victory over UCF
Valerie Sanderson * Sr. * F * Memphis
Scored two goals in the Tigers 3-1 victory over USF to ellipse the school record for career points.
Vanessa Valadez * RS-So. * F * SMU
Scored her ninth goal of the year and recorded her eighth assist in the Mustangs 3-1 victory over Houston
