PROVIDENCE, R.I. - There are four weeks until the American Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships and this week sees a lighter schedule than previous weeks with only nine teams competing on Friday and Saturday.
USF’s men and women and UCF’s women will be racing in the Florida State Invitational in Tallahassee, Fla., on Friday. Both teams last competed on Sep. 24 in the Mountain Dew Invitational in Gainesville, Fla., and Anne-Marie Blaney from UCF won the women’s individual title in that race.
Houston also races on Friday at the HBU Invitational in Houston, Texas. The Cougars also had last weekend off, last racing on Sep. 24 at the Texas A&M Invitational.
On Saturday (Oct. 8), UConn will have both its men and women racing in the New England Championships in Boston, Mass., and Temple’s men and women will be in Philadelphia for the Jack St. Clair Memorial Invite. Both UConn and Temple raced in the Paul Short Invitational last Saturday (Sep. 1).
