East Carolina’s Pettersson Tabbed American Women’s Golf Player of the Month



PROVIDENCE, R.I. – East Carolina junior Lisa Pettersson was selected as the American Women's Golf Player of the Month for October, the league announced on Tuesday.
 
Pettersson claimed back-to-back American monthly golf honors after setting a personal best 54-hole score at the Pinehurst Challenge on Oct. 11. The junior won the event with a 208 (72-65-72), the best score in a field of 96, and led ECU (861) to the team championship title. Pettersson recorded a pair of Top 6 individual finishes in three events in October and helped the Pirates to Top 5 marks in each of their events.
