· SMU won its second straight American Athletic Conference championship with an 18-2 record in conference play. The Mustangs, who are receiving votes in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll, earned the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament where they will play Texas A&M on Friday (Dec. 2) at 5 p.m. ET.

· Cincinnati earned the first at-large bid in American Athletic Conference history with a 17-3 record in conference play. The Bearcats travel to Gainesville, Fla., and will play No. 16 Florida State on Friday (Dec. 2) at 4:30 p.m. ET.

· Irem Asci (Temple) led The American with 18 double-doubles on the season.

· Jordan Thompson (Cincinnati) is the first unanimous Player of the Year and the Bearcats took home two other yearly honors as Jade Tingelhoff won Setter of the Year and Molly Alvey earned Coach of the Year honors.

· Morgan Heise (SMU) won her third-straight Liber of the Year award after leading the conference in digs for the third straight season. Fellow Mustang Kendall Patterson took home Freshman of the Year honors after leading the league in assists.
