PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly men’s basketball honors for the week of Dec. 19-25.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Clark earns his first career player of the week accolade after leading No. 24 Cincinnati to a come-from-behind, overtime win over Marshall. The junior posted his third double-double of the season with a career-high 26 points on 12-of-15 shooting with 10 rebounds to go with three assists and two blocks. Clark’s 14 career double-doubles are the second most of any player during the Mick Cronin coaching era, behind only Yancy Gates (23 from 2009-12).

Moore led Temple to an 83-77 win over Yale in the Owls’ lone game of the week. The freshman point guard posted a career-best 26 points, hitting four three-pointers and going 10-of-11 from the free-throw line. Starting 11 of 13 games for Temple, Moore II is the second Owls’ freshman to earn weekly honors, joining Quinton Rose.

Fall recorded his seventh double-double of the season in just 22 minutes of play, finishing with 20 points and 12 rebounds in UCF’s 30-point win over Bethune-Cookman. Going 10-of-11 from the field, Fall is now shooting 83.8 percent and is on pace to obliterate the NCAA record of 74.6 percent.

Lawson posted his NCAA-leading 10
th double-double of the season with 25 points and 12 rebounds against Incarnate Word. Lawson is one of two players in the country averaging at least 20 points and 10 rebounds per game.

Facey notched his first double-double of the season and third of his career, recording 15 points to complement a career-best 14 rebounds in UConn’s overtime setback versus Auburn.
Semi Ojeleye · Jr. · F · SMU · Ottawa, Kan.
The junior averaged 20.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game as SMU extended its winning streak to six with two victories last week. In the Mustangs’ 18-point win over Albany, Ojeleye finished with a career-high 28 points.

Da Silva came off the bench to tally a career-high 18 points, fueling USF’s blowout of Delaware. On the week, Da Silva averaged 13.5 points and 8.0 rebounds across two games.
