FORT MYERS, Fla. – Tulane's WNIT run came to a close with a 73-61 loss to Florida Gulf Coast in the third round of the tournament on Wednesday evening.
 
Sophomore guard Kolby Morgan finished with a team-high 12 points and eclipsed the 1,000 career point milestone – becoming the first underclassmen in the program’s history to accomplish the feat. Senior Tierra Jones matched Morgan with 12 of her own, while senior center Chinwe Duru pulled down a team-best 10 rebounds.
 
Whitney Knight led Florida Gulf Coast (31-5) with 22 points, including six 3-pointers, and 10 rebounds, while Kaneisha Atwater scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds.  
 
Tulane finished the year with a 23-12 overall record.
