Highlights

- No. 25/23 USF swept its series against UConn after recording a 1-0 win on Sunday at the USF Softball Complex.

- Erica Nunn pitched three innings of relief, giving up just one hit while striking out four and allowing no walks. The senior from Apex, N.C. earned the win in all three games of the series, giving up just one earned run on 13 hits. Nunn struck out 21 Huskies and finished the series with a .47 ERA.

- Cheyenne Eggens earned the start and kept USF in the game for the first four innings, allowing just two hits and no walks in her 14th start of the season.

- The sixth inning would see the first and only run of the game as Nunn drove in Mo Santos for the game-winning run on a two-out RBI single.

- UConn rookie RHP Jill Stockley (4-10) made her second-straight start against the Bulls and picked up the loss in 6.0 innings of six-hit, one-run, one-strikeout ball. 

- Ryne Nakama went 2-for-2 on the day for the Huskies while Kelli Bates tallied a hit in the series finale.

- RV/NR UCF completed the weekend sweep of RV/RV Tulsa with a 3-1 win at the UCF Softball Complex on Sunday afternoon.

- Junior Manami Calixto collected her seventh win of the season in the circle, coming in to toss 3.2 innings with a pair of strikeouts. Senior Jamie Ujvari earned her fifth save of the 2016 campaign, setting a UCF Softball single season record. She fanned two while allowing just one hit in the final 2.1 innings.

- UCF recorded eight hits in the win. Sophomore Courtney Rotton went 2-for-2 with her first home run of the season. Junior Willow Kalinen also went 2-for-2 at the plate.

. Caitlin Sill (15-3) pitched 4.0 innings and took the loss for Tulsa. She gave up two earned runs on seven hits, and struck out one batter. Emily Watson pitched two innings, giving up one earned run on one hit, while striking out three.

Third baseman Maggie Withee went 3-for-4, and center fielder Jodi Edmiston hit an RBI single to score catcher Catherine Horner in the first inning.- 

- Memphis scored two runs in both the third and fourth innings, and held on despite two solo home runs over the final two innings, picking up a 4-2 win over East Carolina, and an American Athletic Conference series win. 

- Memphis' Molly Smith improved to 8-9 on the season in the circle, striking out seven and walking none. She scattered eight hits and gave up two runs.

- Jessie Lamb, Brittany Seale, Hannah Harrell, and Tyler Johnson each had a hit for the Tigers, while Johnson drove in two runs, one each in the third and fourth innings. The team's four runs came from four different players –  Brooke Lee, Regan Hadley, Harrell, and Johnson.

-ECU freshman RHP Mary Williams (4-11) took the loss after surrendering two runs (both unearned) with four walks and three strikeouts. 

- Junior outfielder Ciara Ervin led all players with three hits to go along with a run scored and a RBI, including her team-leading seventh home run of the season. Senior catcher Kelsi Briggs went 2-for-4 as the other East Carolina player to tally multiple hits.
