PROVIDENCE, R.I. – SMU junior Lindsey McCurdy was named the American Women's Golf Player of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday. McCurdy earned the league’s final weekly honor of the season.
McCurdy earned her fifth Top 10 finish of the season during action at the Red Raider Invitational Apr. 8-9 in Lubbock, Texas. The junior shot her third-lowest round of the season with a 69 in the second round and had seven birdies after the first two rounds. McCurdy tied for 10
th individually with a 221 along with Maty Monzingo of Texas State and Amy Ihm of Iowa.
