Highlights

- Houston snapped a 23-game win streak for No. 24/23 USF with a 5-2 victory during the series finale on Sunday.

- With two hits against the Bulls, senior centerfielder Katie St. Pierre extended her reached base streak to 36 games dating back to last season.

- Freshman starting pitcher Savannah Heebner (3-5) earned the win for the Cougars. She pitched 3.0 innings and allowed one earned run. Junior Shelby Miller picked up her second save of the season as she gave up only one hit though 4.0 innings and allowed one earned run.

- USF's Lee Ann Spivey hit her ninth home run of the season. The senior now has 33 in her career and is just four away from breaking the USF all-time career record.

- Erica Nunn (16-6) took the loss after giving up five runs (two earned) on seven hits. The senior struck out five and walked three in 5.1 innings of work.

- Tulsa completed a weekend sweep by defeating East Carolina, 11-3, Sunday afternoon at the Collins Family Softball Complex.  
 
- Julia Hollingsworth tallied two hits, a run scored and three RBIs. 

- Sophomore pitcher Emily Watson (9-6) picked up her second win of the weekend, striking out six batters and giving up just three hits. She pitched four innings for Tulsa and threw 51 pitches. Senior Caitlin Sillcame in to pitch in the top of the fifth inning, and faced five batters and threw 14 pitches.

- Freshman infielder Morgan Halo recorded her first collegiate home run in the top of the fifth inning to lead the ECU offensive efforts. She ended the day with a run scored and two RBIs.

- Freshman RHP Mary Williams (3-8) tossed her third complete game of the season and allowed 11 runs (seven earned) on eight hits with three walks and a strikeout.
