UConn received 325 points to rank 15
th in the preseason National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll as announced by the organization on Tuesday. In 2015, the Huskies made it to the third round of the Women’s College Cup after claiming the American Athletic Conference regular season title. The team finished the season with a conference best 19-4-0 record.
Two additional teams from The American also received votes, including USF (13) and UCF (4).
Atop the preseason poll are the Florida State Seminoles as they received 751 points and 18 first place votes.
