PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference announced on Thursday the launch of its newly-redesigned website,
www.theamerican.org. The website will continue to provide fans with in-depth coverage while improving features and user-friendly site navigation. The American partnered with it's website provider SideArm Sports to execute the fresh look.
The new and improved website has many features that make it more convenient for users, including:
• A new and improved video page with category designation and featured videos
• Quicker access to team schedules and standings from the home page, including larger tabs
• A bigger, sharper homepage image and logo
• An interchangeable/customizable landing page at

• A social media stream that highlights American Athletic Conference mentions and activity on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

• A next event feature for each sport on the homepage that is in correlation with featured stories
• A more mobile-friendly site with a responsive design
