Coming off a win over then-number 25 South Carolina, Memphis will look to even its conference record when the Tigers play host to UConn on Thursday on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. ET. The American matchup kicks off its weekly Thursday night showcase on ESPN or ESPN2.
Both Memphis (10-4, 0-1 American) and UConn (5-8, 0-2 American) are in search of its first conference wins. The Tigers will be led into the game by Dedric Lawson, one of two players in the country to average more than 20 points and 10 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Jalen Adams will look to maintain his strong play of late for the Huskies, as he has averaged 15 points and over five assists per contest in his last five games.
