PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference will host its annual basketball media day on Monday, Oct. 16, at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott.
The day will serve as the unofficial open to men’s and women’s basketball season, and the American Digital Network will have live coverage beginning at 7:45 a.m. ET.
Fans and media members are invited to follow the latest American Athletic Conference basketball news through social media using #AmericanTipOff. Both shows will be available on Facebook (

The preseason poll, along with preseason player of the year, preseason rookie of the year and first and second-team all-conference honors will also be announced that day ahead of both the men’s and women’s sessions.
