PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- UConn, Houston, Temple and Tulane all recently announced plans to participate in exhibition games with the intent to raise money for hurricane relief efforts.
Houston will face Baylor at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas, in a charity exhibition game. All ticket sales from that game will be donated to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund through the Greater Houston Community Foundation.
The Huskies will take on Providence in an exhibition game on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Mohegan Sun Arena at 7 p.m. ET.
On Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 8:30 p.m. ET, Tulane will host LSU at the Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse, marking the first time in 40 years the Green Wave have hosted the TigersFor the first time in over 40 years.
Temple will host Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) at the Liacouras Center on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The NCAA has granted a waiver to schools to play an extra exhibition game this year, provided the proceeds are donated to hurricane relief.
