AUSTIN PEAY
5-3, 4-1 Ohio Valley

Head Coach

Will Healy (Richmond ’08)
5-14, second season

Notes
Austin Peay has been one of the better stories of the 2017 college football season … The Governors entered the season with a 27-game losing streak, and saw that streak extended to 29 games after losses to Cincinnati and Miami (Ohio) in the first two weeks … But the Governors have won five of their last six games since then, including a 34-14 victory against No. 18 (FCS) Tennessee-Martin … The lone setback in the last six games was a 34-14 loss to No. 4 Jacksonville State … QB Jeremiah Oatsvall and QB JaVaughn Craig have split the snaps behind center … Each has thrown for three touchdowns with three interceptions, while Craig has a team-high six rushing touchdowns … RB Kentel Williams has rushed for a team-high 583 yards … DE Jaison Wiliams has a team-high 8.5 sacks (second in FCS) and 10.5 tackles for loss.

18/17 UCF
6-0, 4-0 American

Head Coach

Scott Frost (Nebraska ’97)
12-7, second season

Notes
UCF is ranked No. 18 in the Associated Press poll and No. 17 in the coaches’ polls this week after the Knights took a 31-21 win at Navy … The Knights are 6-0 for the first time in program history and clinched bowl eligibility for the second straight year following an 0-12 season in 2015 … UCF leads the nation in scoring (47.3 ppg) and is 16th nationally in scoring defense (17.5 ppg) … QB McKenzie Milton has enjoyed a breakout year with 1,722 passing yards and 16 touchdowns with three interceptions … Milton is second nationally in pass efficienty (196.3), trailing only Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield … RB Adrian Killins Jr. leads the team in rushing with 413 yards and five TDs … WR Tre’Quan Smith has 21 catches for 436 yards and eight touchdowns … CB Mike Hughes leads a talented secondary with two interceptions and eight pass breakups.
