- Wichita State20 won its 16th straight league match with a sweep over Cincinnati, as the Shockers remain unbeaten in American action. The winning streak ties the second longest in conference history, as SMU captured 16 consecutive wins in 2015. With two weeks left in the regular season, the Shockers stand three matches ahead of SMU (13-3) and four matches in front of Temple (12-4). Wichita State held the Bearcats to a .065 hitting percentage and were led by Abbie Lehman, who totaled 12 kills, a .400 hitting percentage and nine blocks.
- USF used a .320 hitting percentage to defeat Tulane in four sets on the team’s Senior Day match. Freshman Doris Carter led the way with a double-double of 19 kills and 19 digs, amounting a .361 hitting percentage.
- ECU earned the sole fourth-place spot in the league’s standings with a 3-0 win over Memphis. The middle blockers shined for the pirates with Natalie Montini putting out down15 kills with a .524 hitting percentage and Toya Osuegbu amounting 11 kills, while hitting .476. Shelby Martin paced ECU  with 35 assists. ECU will look to secure its 20th win when it travels to Houston and Tulane next weekend.
- UCF secured its second sweep of the weekend with a victory at home over Houston. The Knights held the Cougars to hitting a season-low .000 hitting percentage and were led by Kia Bright with 19 kills and are back to .500 in conference play with an 8-8 mark. UCF is locked in sixth place with Tulsa, just one match behind Cincinnati.
