PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly men’s basketball honors for the week of Nov. 20-26.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gary Clark · Sr. · F · Cincinnati · Clayton, N.C.
Clark collected Most Valuable Player honors at the Cayman Islands Classic after Cincinnati won all three games by an average of 19.3 points. In the three wins, Clark averaged 16.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game while hitting 16-of-30 shots. Clark opened the tournament by posting his 20
th career double-double with a 24-point, 14-rebound effort against Buffalo, and the senior capped the championship with 17 points and six boards versus Wyoming.

Fabian White, Jr. · Fr. · F · Houston · Atascocita, Texas
In Houston’s lone game last week, White, Jr., came off the bench to become the 14
th freshman in Cougars’ history with a double-double, finishing with 14 points and 12 rebounds against Incarnate Word. White, Jr., was 6-of-7 from the field, and his 12 boards led all players in the win.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Landry Shamet · So. · G · Wichita State · Kansas City, Mo.
Shamet earned all-tournament team honors at the Maui Invitational, recording 17.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. On Monday, Shamet set a Wichita State record for consecutive games with a three-pointer, eventually extending the streak to 29 games.
Malik Martin · R-Jr. · F · USF · Miami, Fla.
Martin broke out for his first career double-double in USF’s victory over Arkansas State, posting career highs with 24 points and 10 rebounds. In a 2-1 week for the Bulls, Martin averaged 12.7 points and 6.7 rebounds.
Jimario Rivers · Sr. · G/F · Memphis · Clarksville, Tenn.
In Memphis’ win over New Orleans, Rivers recorded a career-high 18 points, hitting 8-of-11 field goals. Rivers followed up the effort with 17 points and seven rebounds against Northern Kentucky as the Tigers went 2-0 on the week.
Corey Henderson, Jr. · Sr. · G · Tulsa · Dallas, Texas
In Tulsa’s only game of the week, Henderson, Jr., went 8-of-12 from the floor, coming off the bench to score a career-high 24 points in the Golden Hurricane’s rout of Central Arkansas.
Jalen Adams · Jr. · G · UConn · Roxbury, Mass.
In three games at the Phil Knight Invitational, Adams led the Huskies in averaging 21.0 ppg. Adams helped lead UConn to a tournament-opening win over Oregon with 16 points and five rebounds.
