PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly softball honors for the week ending Sunday, Feb. 12.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kristen Wyckoff • Sr. • 2B • USF
Wyckoff led USF to a 3-1 week at the USF-Wilson DeMarini Classic with a.600 batting average (6-for-10) and .636 on-base percentage. In a win over No. 6 Michigan, she reached base twice and scored twice to help the 25
th ranked Bulls to an upset victory. Wyckoff had three multi-hit games and was a perfect 3-for-3 on stolen bases last week.

Molly Smith • Jr. • P • Memphis
Smith went 2-1 in three appearances at the FIU Tournament and finished with a 1.11 earned run average in 12.2 innings pitched. The junior struck out eight batters last week and earned a complete game win over the host Panthers, who are receiving votes in the ESPN.com USA Softball Top 25, on Friday.
