AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Laksa averaged 27.5 points per game last week, shooting 58-percent (22-of-38) from the field and 50-percent (7-of-14) from 3-point range in a 2-0 week for the Bulls. The sophomore opened the week with 34 points, including 18 in the second half, in a win at East Carolina last Wednesday. In a NCAA resume booster, Laksa powered the Bulls to their 20
th win of the season with a 66-56 victory over Tulane on Sunday. Laksa had 21 points against the Green Wave on 8-of-16 shooting.

Henshaw played a crucial role in USF’s 76-66 road victory over East Carolina, posting the third double-double of her career with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The freshman only missed one shot, finishing 5-of-6 and added three assists, two blocks and two steals. Against Tulane, Henshaw just missed her fourth double-double with eight points and 10 rebounds but added a career-high four blocks.
