PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly indoor track and field honors of the 2016-17 season, for the week ending Feb. 19.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Randall Wall • Sr. • UConn • Plainfield, N.J.
Wall earned Male Track Athlete of the Week after his performance in the 60m hurdles at the Artie O’Connor Invite. Wall won the event in a time of 8.15 which is the third fastest in the conference this season.

Duckett has been named Female Track Athlete of the Week after breaking her own school record in the 60m hurdles at the LSU Twilight. Duckett ran a conference-leading 8.46 in the event.

Rapp has been named Male Field Athlete of the Week after his performance in the weight throw at the Arkansas Qualifier in Fayetteville, Ark. Rapp bested his own school record by more than two feet with a throw of 21.59m which is the highest mark in the conference and 13
th in the NCAA.

Blaut earned Female Field Athlete of the Week after improving on her conference-best high jump at the Buckeye Tune-Up in Columbus, Ohio. Blaut cleared 1.73m which increased her conference-best jump by two cm.
