Highlights
 
- UCF remained undefeated (5-0) after beating Manhattan 13-3. The Knights had 11 hits including two each by Kyle Marsh (2-for3), Kam Gellinger (2-for-4) and Logan Heiser (2-for-3).
 
- USF beat Miami (Ohio) 5-1 behind a strong performance by starter Phoenix Sanders. Sanders (1-0) went seven shutout innings, scattering five hits and striking out 10 batters. Kevin Merrell and Chris Chatfield each scored two runs for the Bulls.
 
- East Carolina won its second-straight game as six different Pirates had RBIs in a 7-3 win over La Salle. P Joe Ingle (1-0) picked up the win throwing two perfect innings in relief and striking out four of the six batters he faced.
 
- Memphis beat Illinois State after taking the lead in the sixth inning on a sacrifice fly from Trent Turner and added two more runs on back-to-back bases loaded walks. Alex Hicks (1-0) earned the win after five innings of relief, only giving up one run on three hits.
 
- Houston’s Seth Romero had his second 12-strikeout performance of the season in a 4-2 loss to Missouri. Connor Wong (1-for-2) and Jake Scheiner (2-for-4) each had solo home runs.
 
- Tulane fell to UC Santa Barbara 7-4 on Friday. Jake Willsey hit a solo home run for the Green Wave.
 
- Cincinnati fell 4-3 to the College of Charleston. Right-fielder A.J. Bumpass led the Bearcats offensively going 4-for-5 with two RBIs.
 
- UConn lost 4-1 to No. 25 Texas in game one of a three-game series against the Longhorns. 1B Tyler Gnesda had the only RBI for the Huskies in the seventh inning.
