PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly indoor track and field honors of the 2016-17 season, for the week ending Feb. 5.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Migliorati earned Male Track Athlete of the Week after his performance in the 800m at the Doc Hale Elite Meet at Virginia Tech. The sophomore won the event with a time of 1:49.81, which is tops in the conference and is the fastest 800m in East Carolina program history.

Williams has been named Female Track Athlete of the Week after posting the top 200m time in the conference for the year at the Charlie Thomas Invitational hosted by Texas A&M. Williams’ time of 23:63 ranks her at 25
th in the NCAA in the event.

Bloom earned Male Field Athlete of the Week honors after winning the heptathlon at the Charlie Thomas Invitational. Bloom’s 5,604 points is the highest total in the conference and 15
th in the NCAA. The junior set personal records in all seven events and broke Ashton Eaton’s meet record in the heptathlon high jump.

Greenlee has been named Female Field Athlete of the Week after winning the triple jump at the Don DeNoon Invitational. Greenlee won her eighth career indoor triple jump title with a distance of 12.75m, which is the second longest jump in the conference and 26
th in the NCAA.
